I came across Courtney's work at a farmer's market in Burlington, VT in May 2019. I loved her work so much that I held onto her business card in case I was in need of something in the future. Fast forward to 2021. I wanted to gift my fiance with something for the birth of our baby boy or girl (we left that part a surprise). I wanted something that would feel special to her and tells a story, a story she could share with our baby boy or girl in the future. I reached out to Courtney and she worked closely with me to make sure the necklace told the story I imagined. The outcome... The 14,000 foot Colorado peak (Handies Peak) that we got engaged on, with the trail we hiked to get to the summit engraved. A Montana sapphire stone which represents the month we got engaged (September) as well as the state where my fiancé was born. And lastly, handmade in our favorite state where we will likely be calling home for our new baby boy in the future, Vermont. I can't say enough about my experience working with Courtney on this project, and the piece came out absolutely amazing.

We found Courtney Reckord Jewelry's website with less than one month to go to our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We wanted new rings that would capture our love of hiking and living in the Adirondack Mountains. Her unique designs were just what we were looking for. Courtney responded quickly to our inquiry. We met in person a few days later and tried on several of her mountain-inspired creations. With her help, we ordered a pair of 14 carat gold, two tone finish, with mountains and sky wrapping around the ring. They were ready about two weeks later, well before our anniversary. Two words describe these two very special rings: absolutely stunning! From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with Courtney.

We loved working with Courtney, and absolutely love our rings! We knew we wanted something special and personal for our engagement bands, and luckily had heard about Courtney’s beautiful mountain rings. One of us is from Vermont and the other from Iceland, so we worked with Courtney to do one Green Mountains ring and the other a custom ring of an Icelandic mountain range. Both came out great!
