We loved working with Courtney to design our custom wedding bands. I have a uniquely shaped cluster engagement ring that wasn't goint to easily stack with a traditional band. Courtney was able to design a mountain ring with the elevation of Camel's Hump > Mount Mansfield that amazingly stacked with my ring. She was so receptive to our ideas and input throughout the process and even made a model of my ring for me to try on at home before casting the final version. Would 10/10 recommend her. I came across Courtney’s work when looking for local, mountain-inspired pieces for my wife. Courtney replied promptly to my questions and had a gorgeous, custom-sized necklace ready for pickup in a matter of days. With a 10-year wedding anniversary on the horizon, we reached back out to Courtney to design custom rings to recognize the milestone. We really appreciated having regular email communication with Courtney throughout the process - everything from design, materials, price, and meaning were thoughtfully considered. To ensure the rings would be perfect (they are!), Courtney invited us for an in-person fitting and materials selection consultation. Within weeks, our rings were ready. I came across Courtney's work at a farmer's market in Burlington, VT in May 2019. I loved her work so much that I held onto her business card in case I was in need of something in the future. Fast forward to 2021. I wanted to gift my fiance with something for the birth of our baby boy or girl (we left that part a surprise). I wanted something that would feel special to her and tells a story, a story she could share with our baby boy or girl in the future. I reached out to Courtney and she worked closely with me to make sure the necklace told the story I imagined. The outcome... The 14,000 foot Colorado peak (Handies Peak) that we got engaged on, with the trail we hiked to get to the summit engraved. A Montana sapphire stone which represents the month we got engaged (September) as well as the state where my fiancé was born. And lastly, handmade in our favorite state where we will likely be calling home for our new baby boy in the future, Vermont. I can't say enough about my experience working with Courtney on this project, and the piece came out absolutely amazing.
