Wax carving class January 4th-5th, 9-3ish

Wax carving is a different approach to jewelry making. Not only is it a subtractive process, whereas most jewelry making is additive, it is also an opportunity to create something you might want to make multiples of. I find the process really fun and somewhat challenging. Things never quite look exactly as you imagined they might, but it is fun and a great process to understand especially if you think you might want to start making jewelry to sell, so you can make multiples and don’t have to fabricate every piece.

Class includes use of all tools and materials although you will be responsible for the cost of casting- which will depend on the size of your piece, metal you choose and whether you want multiples made.
