I picked up Courtney’s business card a few years ago at the Burlington Farmers Market. I loved her work and was hoping one day I could treat myself to one of her rings. I decided to reach out to her this spring to see if she could design a ring for my wife and one for me. Courtney designed a ring that included a mountain range, river, covered bridge and our cabin. They both came out beautiful and we could not be happier. Communication was amazing and the whole process was wicked fast. I cannot say enough good things about the entire process.

I found Courtney on Instagram, and I fell in love with the way her jewelry celebrates place. I messaged her to ask about having a necklace made that would reflect the almost daily hikes I take with my beloved husky. She was enthusiastic about the project and worked with me to map out the necklace, including locations where I have seen animals such as bear, beaver, deer, and birds such as owls and herons. When I received the necklace, I immediately put it on and wore it nearly every day. It is so special to me! Here's where you know you're working with a fabulous professional. When I caught the necklace in something and broke it (luckily, the way she had strung the stones meant I didn't lose any), she responded right away to send it to her for repair. It's on its way back to me, and I cannot wait to wear it again. If you would like a unique, place-based piece of jewelry to commemorate a location that is meaningful to you, I highly recommend working with Courtney Reckord!

My wife and I were engaged on a firetower along the Appalachian Trail in NC. As an anniversary gift I wanted something to commemorate that. I found Courtney's work at a booth during a craft fair in Stowe and got very excited. Courtney was a joy to work with. She was always open about cost and time and was excited to work with me to craft the gift. Wonderful person to work with!
